PASS MUSTER is a Smart Phone-based modular system (i.e. applications) for assessing cognitive and physical health indicators in operational environments. PASS MUSTER utilizes DANA™, a Neurocognitive Assessment Tool (NCAT), which employs both cognitive and psychological test batteries. PASS MUSTER serves as a "Brain Thermometer" that can be used to assist in making "Fit-for-Duty" and "Return-to-Duty" decisions for Warfighters experiencing operational performance issues. PASS MUSTER is compatible with COTS sensors and subjective measures to assess operational readiness symptomatology. DANA is sensitive to changes in cognitive efficiency from any cause, and has been successfully used in six extreme environments, including Afghanistan. AnthroTronix’s goal is for DANA, as the first component of PASS MUSTER, to be forward deployed to provide cognitive and psychological assessment capabilities where they currently do not exist. AnthroTronix’s INTERACT technology improves the fidelity and interactivity of simulation-based training environments using an instrumented glove to provide gesture recognition and haptic and thermal feedback. A wearable delivery device provides olfactory (scent) feedback. Proof of Concept Integration with Cubic’s Immersive Mission Bay Trainer for the LCS Engineering Plant Technician (EPT) is expected to demonstrate INTERACT’s ability to significantly decrease Train-to Qualify and Train-to-Certify times. It’s anticipated that integration of INTERACT with Valve Maintenance courseware at the Submarine Learning Center would result in similar improvements. AnthroTronix’s goal is to transition INTERACT to programs of record to optimize training for acquisition and sustainment of naval engineering maintenance skills.
