QuSpin is developing miniature magnetometers that leverage the latest technologies in miniature electronics and manufacturing techniques, and advances in atomic physics. Founded in 2012 as an atomic devices company, QuSpin focused on developing atomic magnetometers for magnetic anomaly detection and biomedical applications. Our sensors are compact, light-weight, and low-power, enabling use on a wide variety of airborne and undersea platforms for ASW and in hand-carried systems for locating unexploded ordinance (UXO). In a very short time our technology has progressed to fully-operational, field-tested, and easy-to-use prototypes with performance rivaling the previous best magnetometers, but at a fraction of the size, weight, power and cost. QuSpin is seeking defense programs with an ongoing need for high volumes of magnetometers, and prime contractors who can integrate our magnetometers into their systems and platforms.
